Android-specific privacy policy. This policy applies only to WellCalc package com.ryantinklepaugh.wellcalc. It does not change the iOS app’s privacy policy or receipt history.
Scope and controller
Uncommon Weather LLC controls the processing described here. Contact team@uncommonweather.com. WellCalc is a petroleum calculation and field-reference toolkit for traceable checks in field and office workflows.
Information handled
- calculation inputs and results;
- saved jobs, favorites, notes, and history;
- settings and legal-choice evidence;
- purchase history, subscription status, and pseudonymous purchase identifiers when the commerce service is configured.
Core calculations do not require a WellCalc account. Files are created only when you direct an export or share action.
Local product data
The app keeps ordinary calculation records, jobs, favorites, notes, and history on your device. They are not sent to RevenueCat or the legal ledger as part of subscription validation or legal acceptance. Android, device backups, files, keyboards, speech providers, share targets, and other services you choose may process information under their own settings and policies. We do not sell product data or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal-choice evidence and abuse prevention
To preserve your choice and prevent forged receipts, the app sends evidence to Supabase-hosted services: package ID, document versions and hashes, acceptance, decline or withdrawal state, a coarse adult age band and acceptor role on acceptance, timestamps, a random installation identifier, request identifiers, and proof material. Production Android proof uses Google Play Integrity. An Android Keystore public-key proof is used in separately isolated test environments, not as a substitute for production Play Integrity.
When available, the app also provides its RevenueCat-generated app-user identifier to associate a legal receipt with purchase access. This identifier is not an email address or a precise birth date. The legal ledger may retain pseudonymous linkage and signed-receipt evidence. Connection metadata, response status, and rate-limit state may be processed by the service and its providers for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. Ordinary product records are not included in legal-choice evidence.
Google Play purchases and RevenueCat
Google Play processes payments for WellCalc Pro. RevenueCat validates purchase access and provides subscription offerings, restoration, and entitlement status. When the configured purchase SDK initializes, refreshes access, loads plans, or handles a purchase or restore, these services process a generated app-user identifier, store purchase tokens and transaction identifiers, product and base-plan identifiers, purchase and renewal history, subscription status, and related app, store, price, currency, and technical platform information. This processing supports subscription delivery, purchase analytics, restoration, fraud prevention, and customer support. A subscription is not required to use the core tier, but configured commerce services may communicate before you buy and when you restore or check access.
WellCalc does not receive your full payment-card number or bank credentials. Google Play handles the payment details under its own terms and privacy policy. Learn about the providers through Google’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. We do not configure advertising-ID collection, advertising attribution, or third-party advertising integrations in this WellCalc release.
Retention and deletion
Delete ordinary local records with app controls or by removing the app, subject to Android behavior and any copy you exported. Server-side legal evidence is retained to prove and honor the choice, withdrawal, integrity, and retry history it records. Purchase evidence may be retained to provide access, handle restoration, renewals, refunds and disputes, and meet legal requirements. Provider records and security logs follow their applicable retention requirements; uninstalling, declining, withdrawing, or cancelling a subscription does not automatically erase those records.
Contact team@uncommonweather.com to request access or deletion. We may need information that identifies the relevant installation or purchase, and we may retain evidence where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not promise that every legal or provider record is erased after a fixed period.
Choices and rights
You can deny optional Android permissions, decline or withdraw legal consent, restore or manage purchases, and request privacy help. Declining or withdrawing puts the app in Limited Mode; available recovery, legal and subscription-management controls remain accessible. Legal withdrawal does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Use Google Play subscription management to cancel renewal. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or appeal. We do not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
Age boundary
The app is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect a precise birth date through the legal-choice flow.
Security and transfers
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no device, network, or storage system is guaranteed secure. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries subject to applicable safeguards.
