Product purpose
Stillpoint is a private, self-guided reflection journal for putting a looping thought into words, keeping a worry shelf, revisiting it in daylight, and noticing patterns in your own records.
Current data and permission boundary
- reflection responses, unfinished drafts, completed sessions, personal notes, and optional self-reported intensity scores
- worry-shelf entries, tags, notes, dated daylight outcomes, and locally counted patterns
- breathing-session summaries and user-directed JSON archives
- Google Play and RevenueCat purchase or entitlement metadata, and privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence
This Android release does not request microphone, camera, location, contacts, or notification access. Reflection entry uses the Android keyboard you choose. Opening crisis or support resources launches your selected dialer or browser; Stillpoint does not place calls automatically. Export writes only to a document destination you select.
Required safety boundary
Stillpoint supports personal reflection, not diagnosis, treatment, therapy, clinical assessment, or emergency monitoring. Prompts, restatements, pattern counts, and reports are generated from fixed local rules and your entries, not a clinician or a cloud AI service. No one monitors your words. Breathing exercises are optional; stop if uncomfortable. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services. The in-app 988 resource is for the United States; availability differs elsewhere.
Limited mode
After a decline or withdrawal, the following remain available:
- read-only saved reflections, retained drafts, worry-shelf entries, and outcomes
- user-directed archive export and local deletion
- crisis resources, legal and support links, and Google Play purchase management
The following remain unavailable until the current documents are affirmatively accepted:
- new or edited guided reflections, breathing sessions, worry entries, notes, and outcomes
- new purchases and paid interactive features
Legal choices and verification
A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once and remains limited without recurring prompts. A current affirmative choice unlocks ordinary app access after it is durably stored on the device; signed-receipt delivery may retry in the background. Android proof is recorded separately from iOS proof. A service outage does not silently convert a decline into acceptance or relabel an iOS receipt as Android.
