Android-specific terms. These terms apply only to HouseHum package com.ryantinklepaugh.househum. They do not replace or amend any iOS legal document.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are between you and Uncommon Weather LLC. You must be at least 18. By affirmatively accepting the displayed document set, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Product Schedule. Declining keeps read-only records, local export and deletion, legal and support, purchase management, and purchase restoration available but disables ordinary app operation.
2. Limited license
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on compatible Android devices under Google Play rules. Do not reverse engineer, evade access controls, misuse services, infringe rights, or use the app unlawfully.
Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered through Google Play. Google controls payment credentials, cancellation, refunds, taxes, renewal, and the final purchase sheet. The price, billing period, trial if any, and included features shown in that purchase sheet control your transaction. RevenueCat relays purchase and entitlement state to the app but does not process your payment. Restore and manage purchases through the controls provided by the app and Google Play.
Data and backups
HouseHum stores appliance identity, documented phone placement and operating state, quality-qualified spectral fingerprints, three-run baseline assessments, relative drift results, maintenance events, linked before/after evidence, reminder choices, and local reports in app-private storage. Temporary PCM is discarded after fingerprinting, and reports leave only through a user-directed Android share action.
Google Play and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement state. Supabase receives only privacy-minimal Legal6 choice evidence. HouseHum has no product-data backend and does not upload appliance records, microphone samples, fingerprints, or reports.
Local records remain until the user deletes an appliance or all app data or removes the app. Temporary report files follow app-cache and deletion behavior. A deliberately shared report remains with the selected destination until removed there. Legal-choice evidence follows the separate evidentiary retention described below.
Safety and professional judgment
A changed or drifting result is an observation about relative sound, not a fault code or safety assessment. Placement, room noise, appliance cycle, load, nearby equipment, Android audio processing, and a different microphone can alter the result. HouseHum does not diagnose machinery or claim calibrated sound-level accuracy. If equipment seems unsafe, stop using it and follow manufacturer guidance or contact a qualified technician.
Availability and changes
The app and third-party platform services may be unavailable, changed, restricted, or discontinued. We may update the app and these documents prospectively. A new legal family requires a new affirmative choice; it does not rewrite an earlier receipt.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. Uncommon Weather is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business opportunity. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in force.
