Chrome purchases through Gumroad iOS purchases through Apple support for both here

Purchases & refunds

Chrome extensions are sold through Gumroad. iOS purchases are processed by Apple, which also decides App Store refunds. Therefund policy covers Chrome purchases; the answers below explain both paths.

Privacy & data

Each Product Schedule and Privacy Policy explains what data the product handles, where it stays, and what limited records leave the device. Choose the exact documents in the Legal Center.

Bugs & requests

Send the product name, device or browser version, what you expected, and what happened instead. The checklist below can help us respond faster.

Include these details

Help us respond faster

iPhone & iPad

  • The app name, and its version from the app’s own about or settings screen
  • Your iOS or iPadOS version and device model
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
  • Whether it still happens after force-quitting and reopening
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if it is something you can see

Chrome extensions

  • The extension name, and your Chrome version from chrome://version
  • Your operating system
  • The site or page you were on, if it only happens somewhere specific
  • Whether it still happens with your other extensions disabled
  • The exact error text, copied rather than paraphrased

Never send

  • Your complete license key, when a partial is enough to look you up
  • Passwords, or a credential for any other service
  • Anything in a screenshot you would not want stored in an email archive

If verification is genuinely needed we will ask for it explicitly, and say why.

Common questions

Plain answers based on current policies
How do I get a refund on a Chrome extension?

Ask within seven calendar days of the initial one-time purchase, or of the most recent SessionSync Pro charge. Request it through Gumroad, or email team@uncommonweather.com with the product name and the email address you bought with.

That window is for changing your mind, and it is not the limit on a defect. If an extension does not do what its listing says it does, tell us whenever you find it and we will fix it or refund it, however long you have owned it.

Gumroad processes refunds under its own platform rules, and a full refund revokes the paid entitlement attached to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights always apply on top of this.

How do I get a refund on an iOS app?

Apple processes every App Store purchase, so App Store refunds are Apple’s decision to make. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID purchase history. We cannot issue or override it.

Tell us what went wrong anyway. The refund is Apple’s side of it; the defect is ours, and that is the part we can actually fix.

What if the product is just broken?

Then the seven-day window does not apply to you. Tell us whenever you find it, however long you have owned the extension, and we will fix it or refund it.

Send the product name, your Chrome version, and what happened. Fixing it is usually faster than refunding it, and it is what we would rather do.

How do I cancel SessionSync Pro?

Cancel through Gumroad, where the subscription was bought. Cancelling stops future billing after the current paid period; it does not automatically refund a charge already taken. If you want the last charge back too, ask separately, within the seven-day window.

SessionSync Pro is the Chrome subscription. Subscriptions and non-consumable Pro unlocks in an iOS app, once offered, are purchased and managed through Apple instead of Gumroad. RevenueCat supplies anonymous offering, purchase-history, and entitlement state to the app but does not process the payment. The Apple purchase sheet shown before confirmation controls the current price, duration, trial, renewal terms, limits, and included features.

Where does my data actually live?

On your device, in your Chrome profile, or in Apple services such as iCloud or CloudKit where a product’s schedule says so explicitly, and in whatever files you choose to export.

We do not receive your notes, calculations, reflections, proof media, calendar contents, precise location, browsing history, page contents, session cookies, invoices, extracted styles, estimates or reports merely because you use a product. Each product schedule lists exactly what that product touches.

What are Vintrove Free, Cellar, and Pro?

Free keeps the core cellar usable for up to 10 bottles and does not include remote generative AI. Cellar removes the bottle limit and includes the complete non-generative-AI feature set shown in the app. Pro adds bounded AI tools.

At launch, Pro includes up to 50 quick AI requests and 8 combined deep-analysis or vision requests per calendar month. Unused requests do not become cash or carry forward. The Apple purchase sheet controls the current price, duration, renewal terms, limits, and included features before you confirm.

How do I delete everything?

Use the product’s own delete control where it has one, or uninstall and clear its local storage. For Dosefolio, Delete all local records erases Dosefolio records from the app’s on-device database.

That Dosefolio action does not delete body-mass samples already written to Apple Health or copies of reports, weekly summaries, or encrypted backups that you saved or shared. Remove those separately from Apple Health and each saved destination.

Purchase records remain with Apple or Gumroad under their retention rules. When legally necessary, we may keep a limited record of your legal choice and its receipt. That record contains no name, email address, IP address, license key, or product content.

Choose the product’s Privacy Policy →

How do I make a privacy request?

Email team@uncommonweather.com and say which product and which right. Depending where you live that can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, appeal, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your regulator.

We may retain limited consent records when they are legally necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

Will the Legal 5 choice keep appearing?

Accepted users are asked once for the Legal 5 material update. After that choice is recorded for the exact product Terms, Privacy Policy, and Product Schedule, the same document set does not produce a recurring prompt. A future prompt requires another material document update.

If you decline, or later withdraw an acceptance, the product stays quietly in limited mode and does not keep asking. Legal documents, support, export and delete tools, purchase restoration, and local licence deactivation remain available; you can reopen Legal & Privacy yourself if you decide to reconsider.

Product-specific Legal 5 documents →

My license key will not activate.

Send the product name, the email address you purchased with, and the exact message you are seeing. That is almost always enough.

Do not send the complete license key in that first message. If we need to verify it, we will ask for a partial key or a secure step.

What does a “lifetime” purchase actually cover?

A lifetime purchase covers the purchased feature tier for as long as that product is commercially supported. It does not guarantee perpetual operation, every future feature, compatibility with future browsers or websites, or access to other products.
