Product-specific document. This schedule applies only to WellCalc (com.nonconformity.wellcalc). It supplements the separate WellCalc Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each of which has its own immutable version and SHA-256 hash.
Not professional engineering advice. WellCalc is an informational calculation and reference tool. It does not create an engineer-client relationship and must never be the sole basis for a well-control, pressure-control, personnel-safety, environmental, regulatory, or field-operating decision.
1. Incorporated agreement and age
This schedule is part of the Service Terms. You must be at least 18 to use WellCalc.
2. Independent verification required
Before using any output, independently verify inputs, units, sign conventions, assumptions, formula version, source, dimensional consistency, operating range, significant figures, and result against current approved company procedures, governing regulations, equipment limits, field measurements, and qualified personnel. A displayed citation or dimensional test does not certify suitability for your operation.
3. Unsupported and safety-tier calculations
Do not extrapolate beyond displayed ranges or use incomplete, estimated, stale, or mismatched data. Warnings and numerical guards cannot identify every unsafe condition. Safety-tier workflows require an additional in-app acknowledgment and reference-case check. If an output conflicts with a field procedure, approved program, equipment limit, or qualified professional, stop and follow the authoritative source.
4. Field conditions and consequences
Well conditions, fluid behavior, equipment, geology, temperature, pressure, units, and local practices vary. Errors can cause serious injury, death, environmental damage, well loss, or property loss. WellCalc is not a real-time control, monitoring, alarm, certification, or regulatory-compliance system and is not suitable for autonomous operation.
5. Saved jobs and exports
Saved scenarios and PDF/CSV exports are working records, not certified engineering documents. Review them after every app update or input change. You are responsible for revision control, approvals, recipient context, and removing sensitive or proprietary data before sharing.
6. Pro access
The app identifies premium calculators, workflows, saved-job capacity, and exports. Access depends on Apple/RevenueCat entitlement status. Purchase, Restore Purchases, and Manage Subscription use Apple’s systems.
7. Limited mode after declining
Limited mode permits viewing saved work, safety notices, export, deletion, legal documents, support, Restore Purchases, and Manage Subscription. It does not permit new calculations, edits, scenario changes, or reliance on cached results as current.
8. Privacy
Calculation inputs, jobs, outputs, and reports remain on device unless you export them. The acceptance ledger does not receive calculations or report content.
9. No warranty of correctness
Formulas, sources, conversions, software, and documentation may contain errors. Uncommon Weather does not warrant engineering accuracy, regulatory acceptance, suitability for a field condition, or a particular operational outcome.
Current product data boundary
The following categories and operational boundaries are specific to WellCalc. They form part of this product schedule and are described more fully in the product-specific Privacy Policy.
- Calculation inputs, results, history, favorites, bookmarks, units, and display settings
- Field jobs, field names, depths, hole sizes, mud weights, notes, and saved scenarios
- User-requested reports, exports, and local deletion receipts
- Anonymous App Store purchase and entitlement metadata
- Privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence
Calculations and field records
WellCalc performs calculations on the device and stores calculation inputs, results, history, favorites, bookmarks, unit and display settings, field jobs, field names, depths, hole sizes, mud weights, notes, and saved scenarios in local app storage. It does not require an account or login.
WellCalc does not send calculation inputs or results, field-job content, scenario content, notes, or report content to the developer, RevenueCat, or the legal-choice ledger. The app does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party product analytics.
Reports and exports
WellCalc creates reports and exports only after the user asks it to. Exported content is handed to the iOS share sheet, where the user chooses a destination. Temporary report files created for sharing are removed after the share flow closes, but copies saved by the user or a selected service remain under that user's or service's control.
Purchases and legal choices
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment credentials. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and limited app, device, purchase, and entitlement metadata needed to determine access; it does not receive WellCalc calculations, field-job records, notes, scenarios, or reports.
The legal-choice service receives only signed, privacy-minimal evidence of an acceptance, decline, or withdrawal, including product and document identifiers, versions and hashes, the choice, broad age band and acceptor role when applicable, pseudonymous installation and request identifiers, timestamps, locale, and security proof. It does not receive WellCalc product content.
Retention and deletion
Calculation history, favorites, bookmarks, individual field jobs, or all field jobs can be deleted with the available in-app controls. WellCalc may preserve a local deletion receipt so the app can reflect that a record was intentionally removed. Removing the app ordinarily removes its remaining local product data, subject to Apple's device and backup behavior. Exported files remain wherever the user saved or shared them.
Legal choices and limited mode
A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once. WellCalc stores that limited-mode choice and does not turn it into a recurring prompt merely because a later document family is published. The user can review the current documents and affirmatively accept from Legal & Privacy settings. A previously accepted user is asked once when a materially changed document family requires a new choice; a verified acceptance for the current family is not asked again.
