Product-specific document. This schedule applies only to Prep Clock (app.rork.prep-clock-backward-timer). It supplements the separate Prep Clock Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each of which has its own immutable version and SHA-256 hash.
Estimates are not guarantees. PrepClock cannot guarantee preparation time, traffic, route, transit, calendar accuracy, notification delivery, departure time, arrival time, or avoidance of delay.
1. Incorporated agreement and age
This schedule is part of the Service Terms. Users must be at least 13. A parent or guardian must accept for a user age 13–17. Users under 13 receive limited mode.
2. User responsibility
Review every event, task, duration, commute mode, destination, buffer, recurrence, and time zone. Add additional margin for important travel. Do not use PrepClock as the only alert or timing method for medical care, emergency response, childcare, legal deadlines, aviation, safety-critical work, or any event where delay could cause serious harm.
3. Calendar, location, and routing
Calendar records may change or be incomplete. Location and route providers can return stale, estimated, unavailable, or unsuitable results. Walking, cycling, transit, driving, weather, closures, parking, security, accessibility needs, and real conditions may differ. You remain responsible for selecting a safe route and departure.
4. Notifications and system surfaces
Apple controls notification delivery, Focus modes, background refresh, widgets, Live Activities, and Calendar/Location permissions. Alerts may be delayed, suppressed, duplicated, or absent. A Lock Screen or widget state may be stale. Always verify the current in-app plan and use another alarm when consequences matter.
5. Learned durations and Running Late
Learned task ranges and automatic recalculation are estimates from prior entries and user actions. They do not observe actual readiness, travel, or external conditions. Running Late suggests adjustments but does not promise feasibility or a safe arrival.
6. Purchases
The app identifies premium recurrence, calendar, adaptive estimate, Running Late, widget, and other features. Access depends on Apple/RevenueCat entitlement status.
7. Limited mode after declining
Limited mode provides read-only schedules, export, deletion, legal/support/subscription controls, and Restore Purchases. Declining cancels future PrepClock notifications, recurrence scheduling, widget publication, and Live Activities without deleting plans. Confirm critical alerts separately.
8. Privacy
Plans and timing observations remain on device. Calendar and location are accessed only through Apple frameworks when enabled. Uncommon Weather does not receive destinations, routes, calendars, or timing records through the legal ledger.
Current product data boundary
The following categories and operational boundaries are specific to Prep Clock. They form part of this product schedule and are described more fully in the product-specific Privacy Policy.
- Plans, routines, task names and durations, arrival and start times, buffers, completion state, and timing observations
- Recurring-plan identifiers and schedule settings
- Saved destination addresses and coordinates, transport modes, commute settings, and Apple Calendar event identifiers
- Transient current-device location and route inputs used for an Apple Maps travel-time request
- Notification, widget, Live Activity, display, and other product preferences
- Anonymous App Store purchase and entitlement metadata
- Privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence
Plans, routines, and destinations
Prep Clock stores plans and routines, task names and durations, arrival and start times, buffers, completion state and timestamps, recurring-plan identifiers, timing observations, selected destination addresses and coordinates, transport modes, commute settings, Apple Calendar event identifiers, notification preferences, and other settings in local app storage.
A saved destination and its coordinates are part of the local plan and can persist until the plan is changed or deleted. By contrast, the device's current location is requested only when needed to calculate a route, is held as transient in-memory input, and is not persisted by Prep Clock as product history.
Apple Calendar
If the user grants Calendar access, Prep Clock reads calendar events on the device so the user can select an event and build a preparation plan. The EventKit authorization presented by iOS may describe full calendar access because that is the Apple API used, but Prep Clock does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. Fields imported into a Prep Clock plan become local product data; calendar content is not uploaded to the developer.
Maps, routing, and location
When commute calculation is enabled, Prep Clock provides the current origin and the selected destination to Apple's MapKit and directions services to calculate travel time. Apple processes that routing request under its own privacy terms. Prep Clock does not send location or route content to the developer, RevenueCat, or the legal-choice ledger.
Notifications and device surfaces
Plan reminders, widgets, and Live Activities are generated through Apple system frameworks and are not sent to the developer. Their content may be visible on the lock screen or other device surfaces according to the user's system settings.
Purchases and legal choices
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment credentials. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and limited app, device, purchase, and entitlement metadata needed to determine access; it does not receive plans, routines, Calendar content, destination data, current location, or routing details.
The legal-choice service receives only signed, privacy-minimal evidence of an acceptance, decline, or withdrawal, including product and document identifiers, versions and hashes, the choice, broad age band and acceptor role when applicable, pseudonymous installation and request identifiers, timestamps, locale, and security proof. It does not receive Prep Clock product content.
Retention and deletion
Prep Clock keeps local plans, routines, imported event fields, and destinations until the user edits or deletes them, clears applicable app storage, or removes the app, subject to Apple's device and backup behavior. Removing a Prep Clock plan does not delete the source event from Apple Calendar. Data shared or exported through system services remains wherever the user sent it.
Legal choices and limited mode
A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once. Prep Clock stores that limited-mode choice and does not turn it into a recurring prompt merely because a later document family is published. The user can review the current documents and affirmatively accept from Legal & Privacy settings. A previously accepted user is asked once when a materially changed document family requires a new choice; a verified acceptance for the current family is not asked again.
