Agreement for one product. These Terms apply only to Parcel (app.parcel.Parcel). Acceptance is recorded against this document’s exact version and SHA-256 hash, the separate product Privacy Policy, and the separate Product Schedule.
Product-specific schedule incorporated into these Terms
Product-specific document. This schedule applies only to Parcel (app.parcel.Parcel). It supplements the separate Parcel Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each with its own immutable version and SHA-256 hash.
Product purpose
Parcel lets an adult choose a land area, review a historical satellite-derived change report, and optionally monitor that land for significant vegetation or water change using Copernicus Sentinel imagery.
An indicator, not a survey or official record
Parcel identifies possible surface change from satellite observations. It does not establish ownership, title, a legal boundary, acreage, encroachment, regulatory compliance, environmental condition, timber volume, crop condition, flood extent, insurance loss, construction progress, or the cause of a detected change. Verify important conditions on the ground and use a licensed surveyor or other qualified professional when appropriate.
Clouds, revisit timing, and detection limits
Parcel is not real-time, continuous, guaranteed, or an emergency notification system. A report or alert can be delayed by satellite revisit timing, clouds, haze, snow, shadows, source outages, processing queues, notification delivery, or confirmation time. Do not rely on Parcel for personal safety, emergency response, trespass intervention, wildfire or flood warning, security monitoring, or an official deadline.
The service can miss a real change, flag a seasonal or temporary condition, merge separate events, estimate the wrong area, or display incomplete or misleading evidence. A “nothing changed” result means only that the completed analysis found no qualifying change in the available clear observations under the current method.
Authority and lawful use
The user is responsible for choosing land for a lawful purpose and for having any authority, consent, or other basis required for the intended use. Parcel must not be used to harass, stalk, discriminate, threaten, evade a legal restriction, interfere with a property, misrepresent ownership, or make a decision that law requires to be based on a different or official source.
Free access and Parcel Watch
Free access and lookup limits are the current limits displayed in the app. Parcel Watch is an auto-renewable Apple subscription that can add monitored parcels, notification delivery, and the imagery or history features shown in the current purchase disclosure. The price, term, trial, renewal terms, parcel limit, and included features shown by Apple before purchase control.
Limited mode
After a decline or withdrawal, limited mode preserves access needed to review available account records; delete the account; sign out; read legal and support information; and manage or restore an Apple purchase. New lookups, parcel creation, monitoring, processing, alert delivery, purchases, and premium imagery can remain unavailable until the current product documents are affirmatively accepted.
Current product data boundary
The following categories and operational boundaries are specific to Parcel and form part of this schedule.
- Authentication identifiers and account data, including an anonymous lookup user ID, email address where provided, Sign in with Apple identifier, Supabase user ID, and session state
- Land-area geometry, parcel name, purpose, land-cover choice, calculated area, map search or selected location, monitoring state, and processing progress
- Satellite source identifiers, acquisition dates, cloud and valid-pixel measurements, derived vegetation and water indices, baseline and replay state, alert footprints, confidence state, and monitoring health
- Private generated evidence, including before, after, and difference images, monthly snapshots, and timelapse files associated with a selected parcel
- Push-notification token, notification environment and bundle identifier, optional alert-email preference, and alert-delivery state
- Apple purchase and RevenueCat subscription and entitlement metadata associated with an anonymous or signed-in app user identifier
- Privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence and request-audit metadata
- Operational network and security metadata processed by service providers
- Support correspondence and attachments the user deliberately sends to Uncommon Weather
Anonymous lookups, accounts, and authentication
Parcel can create a random anonymous Supabase identity so a person can check a limited number of spots without first providing an email address. That identity and its lookup records are not a promise of permanent storage or account recovery. Watching land, receiving account-linked alerts, and purchasing paid access require the durable account state shown in the app.
A user can sign in with Apple or a supported email one-time code. Supabase processes the authentication identifier, email address where provided, access and refresh tokens, and account user ID. Parcel does not receive an Apple ID password or email-account password.
Land boundaries, search, and device location
A boundary the user draws or selects, its calculated area, name, monitoring purpose, land-cover choice, and processing state are stored because they are the subject of the requested service. Those records can reveal an interest in a home, farm, forest, water body, work site, or other location and should be treated as sensitive even when ownership is not established.
Parcel requests precise device location only after the user chooses the location control and uses it to center the map. Parcel does not request background location and does not monitor the device's movement. Map search and map imagery are provided through Apple frameworks.
Satellite sources, derived observations, and evidence
The service searches public Copernicus Sentinel-2 catalog records through Element 84 Earth Search and reads source imagery from AWS Open Data for the selected land window. It records source scene identifiers, observation dates, cloud and validity measures, derived vegetation and water values, baseline state, possible-change state, alert footprints, and service health needed to build the report and continue monitoring.
When a qualifying change is confirmed, Parcel can generate private before, after, and difference images, snapshots, and a timelapse for the account. Generated media is stored in private service storage and made available through short-lived access URLs. A copy deliberately exported or shared remains with the selected recipient or service.
Push and email alerts
If notifications are enabled, Apple provides a device push token. Parcel stores that token with the account, app bundle, and development or production environment needed to route an alert through Apple Push Notification service. Delivery and device presentation remain controlled by Apple and device settings.
If the user enables email alerts, the account email address and alert content needed for that message can be sent to Resend. Parcel does not use push or email identifiers for advertising.
Purchases, entitlements, and legal choices
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment credentials. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and, after durable sign-in, the Supabase user identifier, plus limited app, device, transaction, purchase, subscription, and entitlement metadata needed to present offerings, restore purchases, provide aggregate subscription analytics, and determine server-authorized access. RevenueCat does not receive parcel geometry, satellite imagery, alert evidence, or location merely to verify an entitlement.
The Uncommon Weather legal-choice service receives signed, privacy-minimal evidence of an acceptance, decline, or withdrawal. It does not receive the Parcel account email, Supabase account ID, parcel geometry, satellite evidence, or alert content.
Retention, account deletion, and subscription cancellation
Account-backed parcel records and generated media remain while the account is active or as needed to provide the requested service. Operational records can remain for a limited period to retry work, investigate a failed run, prevent duplicate alerts, control abuse, secure the service, resolve a dispute, or satisfy legal obligations.
The in-app account-deletion flow removes account-owned private storage through the storage service, then removes the Supabase authentication user and user-owned database records. A completed deletion does not erase copies the user shared, Apple or RevenueCat transaction records, provider security records, or privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence. Deleting a Parcel account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Legal choices and verification
A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once and remains limited without a recurring prompt. A user can review the current documents and affirmatively accept from Legal & Privacy settings. A current affirmative acceptance takes effect after it is durably saved on the device and unlocks main-app access while signed-receipt delivery retries in the background. A non-terminal network, Apple, or service outage does not lock the main app or create another prompt. Widgets, Live Activities, and other extension surfaces that require a verifiable cross-process receipt may wait until the server-signed receipt is received and verified. If the server explicitly rejects the exact saved acceptance as terminal, the client quarantines that failed record and returns to the appropriate decision or limited-state screen. A current choice is not repeatedly requested.

General contractual provisions
1. Operator and documents
These Parcel Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and UNCOMMON WEATHER LLC, with a notice address at 1212 N Walker Ave Apt 207, Oklahoma City, OK 73103, United States (“Uncommon Weather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact team@uncommonweather.com for support, legal notices, and privacy requests.
These Terms incorporate the Parcel Privacy Policy, the separately hashed Parcel Product Schedule, and mandatory Apple platform rules. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless Apple or the App Store listing identifies a valid custom EULA. If documents conflict, mandatory law controls, then Apple terms where they must control, then the Product Schedule for product-specific matters, then these Terms.
2. Adult eligibility and agreement
You must be at least 18 and accept these Terms for yourself or for an organization you are authorized to represent. Parcel is not offered for use by a minor, and a parent or guardian cannot accept on a minor's behalf. No birth date is collected; the acceptance flow records only a broad adult age band and acceptor role.
Clicking “Agree & Continue” after checking the agreement control creates an affirmative acceptance tied to the displayed document versions and hashes. Declining leaves legal, support, export or deletion, and Apple purchase-management or restoration controls available as described in the Product Schedule, but disables ordinary product operation.
3. Limited license and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms and any required payment, Uncommon Weather grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Parcel through an Apple-authorized distribution channel. You may not resell, sublicense, bypass licensing, reverse engineer except where law permits, introduce malicious code, interfere with services, violate Apple platform rules, infringe another person’s rights, or use the app to break the law.
4. Ownership, content, and feedback
Uncommon Weather and its licensors retain rights in Parcel, its brand, design, code, documentation, and services. You retain your rights in content and records you create or capture and are responsible for having permission to use or share them. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.
5. Apple purchases, renewals, and refunds
Parcel may offer a Watch auto-renewable subscription. The current price, duration, introductory offer, renewal terms, parcel limit, imagery access, and included features shown by Apple before confirmation control. Cancellation stops future renewal but normally preserves access through the paid term; deleting a Parcel account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refund decisions. RevenueCat supplies purchase and entitlement state to Parcel but does not process the payment.
An auto-renewable subscription continues until cancelled through the Apple ID subscription controls. Cancellation normally stops future renewal after the current paid period and does not automatically refund an earlier charge. Request an eligible refund through Apple. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply, and a full refund may revoke the associated paid entitlement.
6. Product data, exports, and backups
Parcel is an account-backed network service. Parcel boundaries, observations, alerts, generated evidence images, timelapses, notification settings, and related service state are stored with Supabase and private service storage. The app can cache limited display state on the device, but that cache is not an independent backup. User-directed sharing can create copies with a recipient or destination selected by the user. You are responsible for retaining any record needed for land management, insurance, compliance, safety, a dispute, or another important purpose. Account deletion, an incomplete upload, network or provider failure, storage corruption, service change, or loss of a shared file can cause permanent loss.
7. Apple and other service providers
Parcel may rely on Apple, iOS, MapKit, Core Location, the App Store, StoreKit, Apple Push Notification service, RevenueCat, Supabase authentication, database, storage and Edge Functions, GitHub Actions, Element 84 Earth Search, AWS Open Data, Copernicus Sentinel data, Resend for an enabled email alert, and the separate Uncommon Weather legal-choice service. Those providers apply their own terms and can change, fail, restrict, or discontinue service. Uncommon Weather does not control third-party platforms, satellite availability, cloud cover, source-data corrections, or account systems.
8. Updates, availability, and termination
We may update Parcel for security, law, policy, compatibility, reliability, or product reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. We may suspend network services for abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material breach. You may stop using the app at any time.
Declining materially updated terms places the app in limited mode rather than deleting prior acceptance or local data. Ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and disputes survive termination where applicable.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARCEL AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” UNCOMMON WEATHER DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. Product-specific limitations appear in the Product Schedule.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNCOMMON WEATHER AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, CONTRACTORS, TRANSFERORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARCEL OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO PARCEL WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including non-waivable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or certain personal injury and consumer rights.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Uncommon Weather from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from unlawful use, content you had no right to use or share, infringement, intentional misuse, or material breach. This does not apply to claims caused by Uncommon Weather’s own conduct and remains subject to mandatory consumer-law limits.
12. Governing law and disputes
Before filing a claim, send a written description and requested resolution to the notice address or email and allow 30 days for informal resolution unless urgent relief or mandatory law makes that impractical. Oklahoma law governs without regard to conflicts rules. Subject to mandatory consumer venue rights, state and federal courts serving Oklahoma County, Oklahoma have exclusive jurisdiction.
These Terms do not require arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver. Nothing limits eligible small-claims proceedings or non-waivable rights.
13. Changes and document evidence
Material changes receive a new version and require a new affirmative acceptance before ordinary use. Immutable archived copies and SHA-256 hashes identify what was presented. Continued use alone does not silently create acceptance of a materially changed document.
14. Assignment, severability, and notices
You may not assign this agreement without consent. We may assign it with the app, business, merger, reorganization, or asset sale subject to applicable law and required notice or consent. If a provision is unenforceable it will be limited to the minimum necessary and the remainder continues. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control.
