GrowLux Product Schedule

Product-specific Android schedule. This schedule supplements the separate Terms and Privacy Policy for package com.ryantinklepaugh.growlux.

Product purpose

GrowLux is a longitudinal canopy-light experiment that repeats a fixed spatial map across the day before and after one recorded intervention.

Current data and permission boundary

app-private shelf or zone definitions and fixed 3-, 5-, or 9-point layouts
on-device camera-exposure or ambient-light readings, survey time slots, dates, source choice, photoperiod, and uncertainty
one locked intervention, matched before-and-after outputs, weakest-point coverage, seasonal-drift status, and local reports
purchase entitlement and legal-choice evidence

Camera access is optional and used only to read exposure metadata; camera pixels are discarded and no image is retained or uploaded. A device ambient-light sensor is used only when present and selected. Ordinary experiment data remains app-private and local. A report leaves the app only when you direct an Android share action.

Required safety boundary

GrowLux readings are phone estimates that may vary materially with device, sensor, angle, position, light spectrum, daylight, dimming, foliage, and operating conditions. They are not laboratory PAR measurements, plant-care guarantees, or safety advice. Repeat the same device and placement and verify consequential decisions with a calibrated quantum sensor.

Limited mode

After a decline or withdrawal, the following remain available:

read-only canopy experiments, surveys, samples, comparisons, spaces, and readings
local evidence-report and CSV export plus deletion controls
legal, support, subscription-management, and purchase-restoration controls

The following remain unavailable until the current documents are affirmatively accepted:

new camera or ambient-sensor capture
new or edited experiments, surveys, interventions, spaces, or planning actions
new purchases

Legal choices and verification

A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once and remains limited without recurring prompts. A current affirmative choice unlocks ordinary app access after it is durably stored on the device; signed-receipt delivery may retry in the background. Android proof is recorded separately from iOS proof. A service outage does not silently convert a decline into acceptance or relabel an iOS receipt as Android.
