Product-specific document. This schedule applies only to FreightAudit (com.ryantinklepaugh.freightaudit). It supplements the separate FreightAudit Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each with its own immutable version and SHA-256 hash.

Product purpose

FreightAudit helps an adult carrier or owner-operator compare a rate confirmation with a settlement statement, identify possible accessorial-payment discrepancies, and prepare a user-reviewed dispute packet.

A reconciliation aid, not legal advice

FreightAudit compares user-entered or extracted records and identifies possible discrepancies under the terms provided. It is not a law firm, collection service, court filing system, accounting service, or substitute for a contract review by a qualified professional. A finding is not a legal conclusion that money is owed or that another party acted unlawfully.

Inputs and source limits

OCR, document extraction, EIA publication timing, contract language, mileage, dates, and settlement classifications can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Verify every amount, formula, source week, and supporting page before sending a dispute or making a business decision.

Free access and FreightAudit Pro

The current free and Pro limits are those shown in the app and Apple purchase sheet. Pro can add document parsing, expanded audits, dispute packets, additional records, or other features described at purchase. Subscription status does not make an extracted value or finding more accurate.

Limited mode

After a decline or withdrawal, the user can review available records, export or delete available data, read legal and support information, and manage or restore an Apple purchase. New records, scans, audits, packets, purchases, and Pro actions can remain unavailable until the current documents are accepted.

Current product data boundary

The following categories and operational boundaries are specific to FreightAudit and form part of this schedule.

  • Load, route, mileage, rate, accessorial, detention, settlement, deduction, fuel-surcharge, and profitability records
  • Photographed or imported rate-confirmation and settlement pages, on-device recognized text, extraction provenance, and user corrections
  • Truck, carrier, broker, and template details the user stores
  • Public EIA diesel-price observations and retrieval state
  • Private CloudKit identifiers and synchronization state
  • User-requested PDF, CSV, and other exports
  • Anonymous App Store purchase and RevenueCat offering, transaction, purchase, and entitlement metadata
  • Privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence
  • Support correspondence deliberately sent to Uncommon Weather

Documents and on-device extraction

FreightAudit uses Apple Vision and, where available, Apple on-device intelligence to read a document the user photographs or selects. The page image, recognized text, extracted fields, and corrections remain in app storage and the user's private CloudKit database. They are not sent to Uncommon Weather, RevenueCat, an advertising service, or a paid artificial-intelligence API.

Extraction can be incomplete or wrong. The app preserves provenance and requires the user to review contract terms and settlement values before relying on a finding or exporting a packet.

Local storage and private iCloud synchronization

FreightAudit has no product account or developer-operated product database. Apple can synchronize the SwiftData store, including external-storage document assets, through the user's private CloudKit database. Apple processes that content under the user's iCloud account; Uncommon Weather does not receive it merely because sync is enabled.

Public diesel data and user-directed exports

The app can retrieve public regional diesel-price files from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The request does not include the user's documents or load records. A dispute packet or other export is created only when requested and is handed to the Apple share interface; copies remain with the chosen destination or recipient.

Purchases and legal choices

Apple processes purchases and payment credentials. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and limited app, device, offering, transaction, purchase, and entitlement metadata needed to present products, restore purchases, provide aggregate subscription analytics, and determine Pro access. FreightAudit does not set an email or carrier identifier in RevenueCat and does not send documents, OCR text, loads, findings, profiles, or exports to it.

The separate Uncommon Weather legal-choice service receives only signed, privacy-minimal evidence of an acceptance, decline, or withdrawal. It does not receive FreightAudit documents, load records, calculations, exports, or private CloudKit content.

Retention and deletion

Records remain locally and in private CloudKit until the user deletes them, uses Delete All App Data, removes the app, or changes Apple storage, subject to synchronization behavior. Deleting app data does not erase an export already shared, Apple or RevenueCat purchase records, provider security records, or privacy-minimal legal-choice evidence.

Legal choices and verification

A decline or withdrawal takes effect locally at once and remains limited without a recurring prompt. A user can review the current documents and affirmatively accept from Legal & Privacy settings. A current affirmative acceptance takes effect after it is durably saved on the device and unlocks main-app access while signed-receipt delivery retries in the background. A non-terminal network, Apple, or service outage does not lock the main app or create another prompt. Widgets, Live Activities, and other extension surfaces that require a verifiable cross-process receipt may wait until the server-signed receipt is received and verified. If the server explicitly rejects the exact saved acceptance as terminal, the client quarantines that failed record and returns to the appropriate decision or limited-state screen. A current choice is not repeatedly requested.
