Uncommon Weather LLC designs, develops, ships and supports fifteen products for iPhone and for Chrome. Same few hands write the code, answer the email, and own the consequences.
Where the name comes from
Oklahoma teaches you a particular respect for instruments. When the sky turns you do not want a dashboard. You want one gauge that is right, legible in bad light, and still working when conditions are worst.
That is the engineering standard we hold the code to. It is a useful metaphor and a good name; the day job is writing, shipping and maintaining software.
How we build
Each product starts from a problem someone actually has, gets built until it is genuinely finished, then gets maintained rather than expanded. Native Swift on iOS, plain TypeScript in the browser, and no growth experiments run on the people using it.

One clear job
A product should be explainable in a sentence. If it needs a tour, it has already failed the brief.

Finished, then kept
We would rather ship a small thing completely than a large thing forever. Products get repairs, not churn.

No accounts you do not need, no notification farming, no telemetry we would object to ourselves.

Priced honestly
Nearly everything is a single purchase you own outright. One product bills monthly, because it genuinely runs a service, and it says so on its page.
